Client Needs Analysis

Our Client Needs Analysis (CNA) is a comprehensive, highly customized, confidential and complimentary, written, financial strategy that can help you determine:
  • How much money will pass through your hands.
  • Your Debt-Freedom Date (DFD) - When you could be totally debt free.
  • Your Financial Independence Number (FIN) - Help determine how much money you will need to accumulate, in order to enjoy your Golden Years in complete financial security.
  • Help figure out how (or if!) you can send your kids to college.
  • Where you might be able find the money to do it.

Preparation for your CNA


To work with you, we need to understand not just where you want to go, but where you are right now. Please have as much of the following information available when we meet (if you don't have it, it's okay we'll work through it):

  • Income Information
    • Pay stubs for the last month, year to date, or last 2 years tax returns.
  • Retirement Statements
    • Traditional IRAs, Roth IRAs, 401(k)s, 403(b)s, 457s, SEPs, SIMPLEs, Pensions, or any other assets earmarked for retirement.
  • Non-Retirement Savings or Investment Account Statements
    • Savings and checking statements, CDs, mutual funds, or any other non-retirement assets.
  • Insurance Policies, Illustrations, Premium Statements, Declaration pages_
    • Auto, Home, Life, Boat, Health, Disability, Group Plans, Long Term Care, etc.
  • Debts Statements
    • Home mortgages, auto loans, installment loans, student loans, credit cards, any other
    • debts where you carry balances from month to month.
  • Company Benefit Statements
    • Annual or quarterly benefit statements and/or benefit booklets.
  • Children’s Accounts Statements
    • Savings accounts, savings bonds, Education IRAs, UGMAs, UTMAs, 529s Savings Plans,
    • 529 Pre-paid tuition plans, or any other assets earmarked towards education.
  • Legal Protection
    • Pre-paid legal services
    • Living Trust
    • Will
    • Durable Power of Attorney
    • Living / Medical
